Precise application
We don’t believe in the “surround and drown” method of pest control. Many pest problems can be solved with tiny, precise applications of insecticide - sometimes less than a milliliter. Using any more pesticide than is needed to solve a problem is irresponsible, as is applying pesticide in places where it serves no purpose.
High reliance on exterior treatments
Specifically regarding residential pest control, pest problems inside a home can often be prevented by careful, judicious, and well-timed exterior applications of low-toxicity products. In fact, we have many customers whose pest control is performed entirely on the outsides of their homes.
Cockroaches of the Pacific northwest
There are many species of cockroaches. Most of them live outside in the forest and don’t bother anyone. However, there are four species of cockroaches that are rude enough to infest homes and businesses in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas. Those species are the German cockroach (Blatella germanica), the brown-banded cockroach (Supella longipalpa), the American cockroach (Periplaneta americana), and the Oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis).
